For more than 30 years, I've worked with businesses, nonprofits, and leadership teams to solve problems, strengthen relationships, and move important work forward.
During my career, I've learned that communication problems are rarely just about communications. More often, they're the result of competing priorities, limited capacity, or projects that have simply lost momentum.
My work sits at the intersection of communication, strategy, and getting things done.
Whether I'm clarifying messaging, facilitating planning, teaching workshops, upporting fundraising, coaching leaders, or taking ownership of a project that's been sitting on someone's desk for far too long, the goal is always the same: make progress.
I don't arrive with a formula because every organization is different. I listen first, ask good questions, and work with you to find practical solutions that fit your people, your goals, and your budget—not someone else's.
One thing I've learned over the years is that the people closest to the work usually have the best ideas. My role is to bring experience, perspective, and an outside point of view that helps turn those ideas into action.
If we work together, you'll get honest advice, practical thinking, and someone who's just as comfortable rolling up her sleeves as she is sitting around a boardroom table. My goal is simple: leave your organization stronger than I found it.
The name
Why Quill and Anchor?
The quill represents creativity, curiosity, and the craft of communication. It represents finding the right words, shaping ideas, and creating something that feels thoughtful and human.
The anchor represents staying grounded. It reflects strong values, sound strategy, and the ability to stay focused when priorities shift and challenges arise.
Technology has changed the way we work, and AI is an incredible tool. But the best communication still requires human thought, careful judgment, emotion, and a clear understanding of what matters. People can tell when words have been written with purpose—and when they haven't.
One brings creativity and connection.
The other brings clarity and direction.
Together, they represent how I work: thoughtful communication, grounded strategy, and practical solutions that help good work move forward.
